So I was completely honored and floored when Rachael and Calvin asked me to come to New York City to shoot their engagement session. I love when that happens! We started at some of their favorite spots in Central Park and then went up to the roof at their condo for a glorious sunset overlooking Manhattan. I cannot wait for their wedding in September!

One of the best parts of my job is being present during some of the most intimate moments in family life. Throughout Lauren and Jake's wedding I found myself within feet of some of the most loving words people can say to one another. Not only is it an honor to photograph such moments and conversations. It's inspiring. As a father of five incredible kids, I get to learn from some of the best families in Louisville.
