Lauren & Michael at The Olmsted

Lauren & Michael at The Olmsted

Sometimes I feel like Spotify stuck on the repeat.

- So and so's wedding was so much fun.
- How gorgeous is this bride?
- Look at how much they love each other.
- Details... (those monogrammed robes are pretty stellar!)
- That party though.

And you know what?  I'm completely fine with it.  When you have clients as wonderful as Lauren and Michael, you're going to rave about them. Their wedding at the Olmsted was characterized by most of my favorite things in life.  Smiles, hugs, laughter, joy, family, love and friends.  Oh... and some really funky dancing.  Don't believe me?  Take a gander.

I do believe there is one thing that separates this wedding from ALL of the other weddings I've photographed.   I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've blogged a photograph of someone picking someone else's nose.

Ashley & Brian at The Olmsted Mansion

Ashley & Brian at The Olmsted Mansion

I have been a huge fan of the Louisville Cardinals ever since I moved to Louisville in 2003.  So when the super-talented Ellen Fox asked me if I was available to shoot Brian Brohm and Ashley's wedding, I was floored.

When I think about Ashley and Brian's wedding, the word "remarkable" comes to mind.  Among others which I can't repeat on my blog.  :)  Everything about their wedding was either beautifully romantic or roll on the floor hilarious.  Especially enjoyable was watching and photographing Ashley interact with her parents throughout the day.  Massive amounts of love and care were easily observable.

And I'm a sucker for a great party with close friends.  You throw in some karaoke to David Allen Coe and some crazy dancing with people up on shoulders and I might as well be in wedding photographer heaven.

Ashley & Brian's Sneak Peak

Ashley & Brian's Sneak Peak

I've been excited about Ashley and Brian's wedding for a long, long time.  This weekend, it finally happened in a big, amazing, beautiful way.
