Ally & Will at The Louisville Country Club

Ally adores black and white photography.  (As do I!) So I am going to go against the grain and only show black and white images from their beautiful wedding at the Louisville Country Club. 

There was so much to enjoy about photographing this wedding.  Ally's smile lit up every room.  Will and his groomsmen spared no opportunity for hilarity.  Their legendary first dance was equal parts Dirty Dancing and Great Gatsby.  And it's not every day that I get to shoot a wedding where a United States Senator is a wedding guest.

There is something magical about black and white photography.  It has a way of making images taken last week appear as though they were taken a century ago.  I like that.  I hope you do too.

Janie & Robert at the Speed Art Museum

Hi internet!  I know it's been a while since I blogged to you.  But I sort of was hoping you'd accept this blog post as a peace offering of sorts.  I want us to be friends again.  Are we good?

Meet Janie and Robert.  They are pretty much awesome.  And like there koozie says Janie and Robert are totally making marriage great again.  Hah!

Also, I've got to give a huge shout out to Hollis Starks, Janie's wedding planner.  She knows how to throw a super classy party that is such a joy to photograph. 

Charlotte & Jerry at Gardencourt Mansion

How beautiful was Charlotte and Jerry's outdoor wedding at the Gardencourt mansion?  (I'm about to show you.)  This wedding was sheer joy to photograph, mainly because I don't think Charlotte stopped smiling all day.  Hollis Starks and her team did a wonderful job planning the wedding.  I love working with wedding planners who have great vision and she is certainly one of the best!
